EmpowerED was born from a simple but urgent belief: every young person deserves the tools, knowledge, and support to build a financially secure future. Yet across the country, most students graduate without ever learning the basics of budgeting, saving, credit, or investing—leaving them vulnerable in a system that expects financial independence without offering financial education. 

To change that, we created EmpowerED with a dual structure that drives both equity and impact. Our nonprofit arm, The EmpowerED Foundation, breaks down barriers to access by partnering with donors and financial institutions to sponsor Money Month Challenges—interactive, incentive-based learning experiences where students earn real rewards for completing financial literacy modules. These challenges don’t just teach concepts—they activate action by helping students open real accounts and take their first steps toward wealth-building.
